What is Canterbury Academy?
We are a preschool welcoming children ages 2-6. At Canterbury Academy our goal is to establish a strong educational foundation that will support lifelong learning for each child.
What/Who is Canterbury?
Canterbury was a home based business by the Gomez family daycare in 2004. We wanted to expand our services to provide for more children and families, and in 2010 Canterbury Academy was established. Betty and Eula had a vision to create an environment that nurtures children, while giving them the tools necessary to create a strong educational foundation as we are building confidence and opportunities to learn in a diverse setting.
Where are we?
We are in the heart of Inglewood, close to E Manchester and S La Brea Ave.

Ms. Eula G
Director / Teacher
Ms. Eula G’s passion for the education of young children is truly commendable. She has been in education for 20 years, and earned her degree in Early Childhood Education. Ms. Eula G takes pride in witnessing the development of young minds and is dedicated to providing guidance every step of the way.
Mrs. Gomez
Curriculum Advisor
Mrs. Gomez for over four decades has wholeheartedly devoted herself to the education of children, and She hold’s a degree in Elementary Education as well as a Masters in Education. Mrs. Gomez takes delight in creating a nurturing and creative environment where children not only thrive academically but also see their confidence soar.
